National Team

WCI has 55 staff across the national team and 17 local community development projects, with 7 national staff members representing the national team. At the national level, we participate in key national structures supporting women’s equality.

The national staff supports colleagues throughout the 17 projects in many ways, such as by providing training in their areas of work and sourcing funding to deliver WCI-targeted, needs-based community education programmes at a local level through each of the 17 projects.

In recent years, WCI has successfully sourced funding from the ESF Fund, DSF Reconciliation Fund, and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth to participate in key national structures supporting women’s equality.

We believe in the potential of all women to embrace who they are, define their own futures, and positively influence the world around them.
