WCI Lucan
WCI Lucan is a women’s group working proactively to empower women through our individual and collective action. Our main areas of work consist of reaching out to women in the local community who would like to access higher education, offering general support, and ensuring women in all their diversity feel included in our project.
Meet the Team
Rita Harte
Coordinator
Rita works as Coordinator for the WCI Lucan project and is responsible for the effective day-to-day running, management, and development of the Project.
Rita is also responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and supporting the work of WCI Lucan.
Joanne Nolan
Development Worker
Joanne works as the Development Worker in WCI Lucan, working with Rita to develop programmes and courses for women in the local area.
Joanne also holds the responsibility of networking with women in the local area, by facilitating and supporting women's engagement within the Project.
Melanie Egan
Project Worker
Melanie operates as WCI Lucan's Project Worker, ensuring the day-to-day administration of the Lucan office.
Melanie also supports the project by engaging with grassroots women and promoting upcoming courses and programmes, as well as the general work of the project.
