This position offers an opportunity to work in a feminist organisation that supports women’s equality and empowerment nationally and locally. Employed by the WCI Board, the National Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal strategic role as part of the management team, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure organisational sustainability, governance, and compliance. The National Operations Coordinator will lead, coordinate, and oversee the Operations, Finance, HR, and Communications organisational strategies, ensuring that the WCI’s people and resources align with its purpose, priorities, and values.
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated 3 years’ experience in a similar senior role.
Possess a graduate level (minimum level 7) or equivalent professional qualification in financial management, business management, operations etc.
Demonstratable experience of developing financial and operational systems, controls, and procedures.
Proven experience of managing budgets, government funding, and grant management experience.
Demonstrate extensive experience of effective leadership and staff development in a busy environment with evidence of management at a senior level.
Experience of Governance and Compliance, developing strategies, processes, and procedures in supporting management obligations.
Experience of developing and presenting strategic financial/operational policy to Board of Management, Senior Management and following through with policy implementation.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills and experience of Microsoft Office 365 Package and Apps.

The salary for the post is €57,000.00 (pro rata) 1st point of WCI National Function Head salary scale. This is a Part-Time position, 28 hours per week.
